Nollywood actor Stan Nze has opened up about a media interview that took a painful turn, as it shifted focus from his work to his personal life, resulting in unexpected headlines.

He shared, “I granted an interview sometime after I got married, and the interview was supposed to focus on my work. However, I realized they were not even talking about the movie; instead, it was more about my personal life. They were trying to dig for a headline.”

While on set, with filming taking place upstairs, the crew paused for a break and the cameraman brought up a question that caught Nze off guard. He recalled, “During the break, the cameraman mentioned a question he had been meaning to ask: ‘Your marriage is recent, and people are saying you married an older woman.'”

Stan, trying to respond thoughtfully, reiterated what he had seen on blogs regarding the subject. However, things quickly escalated, and the next thing he knew, a headline read: “Why I Married My 43-Year-Old Woman.” Stan expressed his shock, saying, “I was shocked and wondered, ‘How did we get here?’”

As the story spread, other blogs picked it up, further fueling the sensationalism surrounding his private life.
