Breaking: Abuja Musician Who Confessed To Butchering Female Corps Member Pleads Not Guilty

Timileyin Ajayi, the prime suspect in the gruesome murder of Salome Adaidu, was arraigned on Monday at the High Court of Justice in Lafia, Nasarawa State and immediately pleaded not guilty.
Timileyin Ajayi the double-faced ‘gospel musician who was recently apprehended with the body parts of a National Youth Service Corps, NYSC member, Salome Adaidu has pleaded not guilty to culpable homicide.
GWG.ng reports that he was arraigned before the High Court, in Lafia Nasarawa on Monday.
Timileyin Ajayi was charged with culpable homicide, an offense punishable by death under Section 221 of the Penal Code of Northern Nigeria if found guilty.
He was arraigned before Justice Simon Aboki and the charges were read to him before he pleaded not guilty.
The tragic incident, which led to Adaidu’s death, has sent the social media abusz, with the public closely following the investigation and legal proceedings. The arraignment marks the beginning of what is expected to be a highly scrutinized trial.
