Renowned businessman and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has shed light on his recent fallout with Grammy-winning artiste Burna Boy, suggesting that the singer may be envious of his close relationship with Davido.

Speaking during an interview on Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Cubana Chief Priest revealed that his friendship with Burna Boy soured as the singer’s career grew bigger.

He explained that they began to drift apart due to a lack of connection, which ultimately led to Burna Boy throwing the first jab. In response, Cubana Chief Priest said he felt compelled to retaliate.

According to the socialite, Burna Boy’s alleged jealousy stems from his unwavering loyalty to Davido, as he often takes on backlash and criticism for the DMW boss. He pointed out that while he stands firmly in Davido’s corner, Burna Boy seems to lack a similar supportive figure in his life, which could fuel the tension between them.

“David is always there for me, and I’m always there for him. He shows up at critical moments, and that’s why our bond is unshakable,” Cubana Chief Priest stated.

Addressing rumors about being labeled an ‘azaman’ in the U.S., the businessman dismissed the allegations, clarifying that his absence from the U.S. is due to a minor visa issue. He assured his supporters that the situation is being resolved.

When asked about the possibility of reconciling with Burna Boy, Cubana Chief Priest expressed willingness to settle their differences. However, he noted that both he and Burna Boy are busy individuals with numerous commitments, leaving the door open for reconciliation if Burna Boy feels inclined to make peace.
