Gospel artiste Testimony Jaga has weighed in on the ongoing controversy involving fellow gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, condemning what he sees as an attempt to undermine the “system of God.”

In a video message, Testimony addressed Eezee Conceptz label boss Ezekiel ThankGod, whose actions and statements have been at the center of the dispute. “Anything that is not of the Lord will always fail,” Testimony warned, further calling for genuine repentance from Eezee Tee.

The controversy between Eezee Tee and Mercy Chinwo stems from a series of financial disagreements and tensions in the Christian music industry. According to Testimony, Eezee Tee’s actions were unnecessary and reflected poorly on the gospel community. He stressed, “If you come, nothing will happen,” indicating he wasn’t afraid of any retaliation from Eezee Tee.

Testimony also pointed out the absence of public support from pastors and influential figures in the gospel music industry for Mercy Chinwo. He questioned, “How come suddenly nobody is supporting what you are going through? Pastors are not coming out to stand for you, people that matter are silent. We know why—over the years, you have charged them. You didn’t have sympathy for churches.”

This lack of backing, according to Testimony, could be a result of Eezee Tee’s alleged past actions, where he charged pastors and churches “exorbitant fees for performances.”

Testimony’s message ended with a strong reminder, warning against any attempt to “blackmail the system of God,” asserting that such efforts will ultimately fail, “Anything that is not of the Lord will always fail.”
