Video: Adesanya Suffers Crushing Defeat As Imavov Wins By KO

Israel Adesanya’s position in the middleweight division is now uncertain after a shocking knockout loss to Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Fight Night 250 in Saudi Arabia.

Before the fight, Adesanya was already under pressure, having lost his last two matches to Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis. Many expected him to make a strong comeback, but things did not go as planned.

Adesanya started aggressively, moving lightly on his feet and delivering strong low kicks to weaken Imavov’s lead leg. However, Imavov was relentless and kept moving forward. Eventually, he closed the gap and landed a powerful punch that sent Adesanya’s head snapping back.

With just over a minute left in the second round, Adesanya took a heavy right hand but managed to stay on his feet. Unfortunately, he couldn’t recover in time. Moments later, Imavov landed another strong right hand, sending Adesanya crashing to the mat.

Without wasting time, Imavov followed up with a strong left uppercut and a series of punches while Adesanya was down. The referee, Marc Goddard, quickly stepped in to stop the fight, declaring Imavov the winner.

The crowd at the AnB Arena, including football star Cristiano Ronaldo, was shocked by the unexpected result. Adesanya stood in disbelief as he realized he had suffered another devastating loss.
