Video: Outrage Trails Trend Of Nigerian Girls Flashing Br3asts On TikTok
By Benjamin Abioye
Nigerian media personality and host Lolo has expressed deep concern over disturbing trends on TikTok, where girls are flashing their breasts for attention.
She shared her dismay after coming across a video where a young boy encouraged girls to flash their breasts on TikTok, claiming it was part of a new challenge. Lolo, visibly upset, condemned the act, saying, “I am not happy today at all. I saw a video on TikTok where another TikToker, a young boy that is probably standing behind a house in one dingy place, is asking girls to flash their breasts on TikTok.”
Lolo pointed out how alarming it was that multiple girls participated in this, highlighting the dangerous implications for young people. “What would need to happen? We’re already seeing girls being raped on a daily basis, not just raped, killed, assaulted, and abused, and yet our young children are not having sense to be able to keep their modesty,” she said.
“Even if they were paying you, you have the audacity to flash your breasts to thousands of people on TikTok at the behest of another TikToker.” She concluded by stressing that as mothers and caregivers, the responsibility to protect children lies heavily on their shoulders. “We need to stop this. We’re our mothers, we’re our caregivers, we’re our guardians. Our words are going astray on a daily basis.”
Lolo’s video has sparked various reactions across social media. Many users supported her stance, with some expressing concern about the influence of TikTok on younger generations. One user responded, “No No No…their body their choice, why cry now?” while others, like Alex James, seemed dismissive, questioning whether the matter truly warranted such concern. “Madam na your breast? Or did anyone force anyone?” Alex asked.
Meanwhile, others shared their frustration with the situation, highlighting the role of social media in promoting inappropriate behavior. “TikTok don dey turn something else,” said Tala, while Cjay humorously added, “Thunder don fire that boy 😂 dem go arrest am soon.”
Several users also pointed out broader social issues, including the lack of family values. One user advised, “Go home and train your sons and daughters, and build a family you can be proud of.” Others, like Pretoria Winright Prince, called for the arrest of the boy encouraging such behavior, saying, “That guy needs to be arrested honestly, what is his pleasure in seeing them naked online like that?”
The comments also reflected frustration with the current state of social media and the consequences it could have on the younger generation. “Our generation is rotten,” one user lamented.
Lolo’s message about protecting children and promoting modesty has struck a chord with many, calling for more responsible behavior online, especially on platforms like TikTok, which continue to influence the youth.
