How Ex-NYSC Director General Was Kidnapped At Midnight
By Benjamin Abioye

Armed bandits have reportedly kidnapped Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga (retd.), the former Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The abduction took place during an attack on Tsiga village, in the Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State, early Thursday morning.
The bandits killed one person and abducted at least nine others. They also ransacked several homes, stealing valuables from residents.
Eyewitnesses said the bandits stormed the village around 12:30 a.m., firing gunshots into the air to create fear and prevent the locals from resisting.
Efforts to confirm the incident with the Katsina State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abubakar Sadiq, were unsuccessful. He responded via SMS, stating that he “can’t talk now.”
Security agencies are expected to investigate the attack and begin a rescue operation for the kidnapped individuals.
