Nigerians Dubt MTN’s Apology

MTN Nigeria has apologized to customers following widespread complaints about network disruptions in several areas it provides coverage; that left many unable to access internet services.

The telecommunications company confirmed the issue, which occurred in parts of Lagos State, was fully resolved. They assured users that all services had been restored.

The company issued a message saying, “Dear customer, we sincerely apologize for the challenges experienced with internet services yesterday in parts of Lagos State. This has been resolved, and services are fully restored. Thank you for your understanding.”

The outage, which began on Friday and continued into Saturday, caused significant frustration among customers who faced difficulties with communication and financial transactions. Many took to social media to voice their concerns and share their dissatisfaction with the service disruption.

In response to the complaints, MTN has reassured their customers that the situation has been addressed and that all services are back to normal.

GWG.ng reports that the disruption in the MTN network coverage in the Lagos area came as the General Overseer of the Redeemed Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye ordered the release of a tiktoker who had formed the habit of using the platform to launch vicious opposition to the revered pastor.
