Popular blogger Cutie Juls has weighed in on the ongoing drama surrounding legendary singer 2face Idibia’s split from his wife, Annie Idibia, insisting that the marriage ended long before the public knew about it.
In a post on Instagram, Cutie Juls stated that 2face and his new lover, Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, have been in a relationship for over two years.
The blogger dismissed claims that the singer moved on too quickly, arguing that he had already emotionally checked out of his marriage with Annie at least six months before their separation became public.
“For those hoping for a reunion, I’ll say this for free—it’s over. Yes, miracles happen, but the physical facts show that it’s ‘otilo’ (gone). 2Baba didn’t just wake up and leave Annie. He spent time detaching from that union while building something with Natasha. Their relationship just didn’t make it to social media early, but their friends and family knew about it,” the blogger wrote.
Cutie Juls also claimed that Annie’s efforts to defend her marriage in the media may have contributed to the breakdown, as she focused on proving loyalty rather than strengthening the relationship.
Addressing speculation that Natasha may have used diabolical means to win 2face over, the blogger dismissed such rumors, stating that the singer’s mind had already been made up.
“People, including family members, say Natasha has ‘jazzed’ him, but that’s not the case. 2Baba simply moved on. Even if Annie were to confront him in an emotional state today, he wouldn’t respond out of affection—just basic human concern. That’s how far gone he is.”
The blogger concluded by emphasizing that 2face, who has children from multiple relationships, does not subscribe to the idea that a “broken home” negatively affects children. This, according to Cutie Juls, makes any attempt to use their daughters, Olivia and Isabella, as an emotional bridge between him and Annie unlikely to work.
With this revelation, it seems 2face’s relationship with Natasha was not a sudden decision but rather the result of a long period of emotional and physical separation from Annie.
