The Nigeria Customs Service has seized a large cache of smuggled arms in Lagos, sparking serious security concerns in the region.

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has intercepted a large quantity of illegal arms and ammunition in Lagos.

This discovery has raised serious concerns about security in the region.

Although the exact number and value of the confiscated weapons have not been revealed, officials have confirmed that the seizure is significant. Authorities are investigating the matter to determine the source and intended destination of the smuggled arms.

The Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, has traveled to Lagos to address the situation. He is expected to hold a press briefing at the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone “A” in Ikeja to provide more details on the incident.
