Nigerian Influencers On The Spot After S3x Demannd From Dying Lady
By Gideon Ayeni

Social media is in turmoil following the tragic death of a young woman, Zainab, who it emerged was solicited for sex by an influencer before he could help her.
The controversy stems from allegations that an unnamed influencer refused to assist Zainab financially unless she agreed to have sex with him.
Zainab had reportedly suffered from chronic otitis media and cholesteatoma, which had metastasized, putting her life at risk. In desperate need of N600,000 for surgery, she reached out to an acquaintance—an influencer—seeking help. However, instead of offering assistance, he allegedly asked for sex in exchange. When she refused, he stopped responding to her.
Left with no choice, Zainab took to social media to appeal for funds. Despite tagging multiple influencers, many reportedly ignored her plea. However, veteran influencer Oku Yungx eventually stepped in and helped raise the needed amount.
Tragically, less than a week after securing the funds and undergoing surgery, Zainab passed away. The news has sent the social media space in Nigeria abuzz, with netizens condemning the influencer who allegedly tried to exploit her situation.
Meanwhile, since no Influencer was named as being the one who demanded for sex from Zainab, some users are accusing those making the claims of seeking clout and engagement farming. Screenshots circulating online indicate that several influencers were tagged in Zainab’s tweets, including Dr. Wizarab, Kene, Danny, MrBanks, Oku Yungx, AsherKine, Victor Boniface, Don Jazzy, Zlatan, Olamide, and Instablog.
Even President Bola Tinubu and footballer Victor Osimhen were tagged, leading to a heated debate over whether the accusations were targeted or just an attempt to stir controversy.
As the conversation intensifies, many are demanding that the unnamed influencer be unmasked and held accountable for allegedly attempting to trade sex for financial aid in a life-threatening situation.
