NNPCL 2024 recruitment interviews

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has officially announced the successful completion of its latest recruitment exercise, assuring that appointment letters will soon be issued to successful candidates.

In a statement signed by the NNPC Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, on February 17, 2025, the company emphasized that the recruitment process was conducted with fairness, transparency, and rigor, describing it as one of the best recruitment exercises by a public institution in the country.

NNPC expressed gratitude to all applicants who participated in the recruitment process and encouraged those who were not selected to remain hopeful for future opportunities within the organization.

Reaffirming its commitment to excellence and equal opportunity, NNPC noted that it remains dedicated to building a world-class energy company through a merit-driven hiring process.

In another news report from Nigeria besides the NNPC recruitment exercise, GWG.ng reports that the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, has issued a stern warning that its members will embark on an indefinite strike if electricity is not restored to their residential quarters. The decision was contained in a communiqué released after an emergency meeting.

Although the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) reconnected UCH to the national grid on February 12 following a 100-day blackout, residential areas remain in darkness. The doctors, led by chapter president Gboyega Ajibola and general secretary Uthman Adedeji, expressed frustration over the lingering outage, noting that their quarters are equipped with prepaid meters that have substantial credit balances.
