Breaking: Portable Surrenders To Lagos Police

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has voluntarily surrendered himself in at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba.
Confirming that Portable surrendered on Wednesday, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the Ogun State Police Command has been notified to take further action regarding the case.
Portable had been declared wanted by the Ogun State Police over an alleged assault on government officials. His surrender marks a significant turn in the ongoing saga.

GWG.ng reports that the Ogun State Police Command, on Monday, declared popular singer Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, widely known as Portable, wanted for allegedly leading a violent attack on government officials carrying out their lawful duties.
In a statement that declared Portable wanted issued by the command’s spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, he said the incident occurred on February 5, 2025, at around 10 a.m. when officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office, were enforcing regulations at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota. The officials—identified as TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi—had requested the approved building plan for a property when they encountered an elderly man, later identified as Portable’s father, at Odogwu Bar.
