Pi Mainnet Other Blockchains

The Pi Network’s shift to an Open Network will enable external connectivity, allowing transactions beyond its ecosystem and expanding its reach to other compliant blockchains.

The Pi Network is moving towards a major milestone with its transition to the Open Network phase. This change will allow external connectivity on the Mainnet blockchain, making it possible for Pi to interact with other compliant networks and systems.

Currently, Pi operates within an Enclosed Mainnet, meaning transactions can only happen inside its own ecosystem. However, once the Open Network phase begins, Pioneers will be able to engage in transactions beyond the Pi ecosystem. This will *increase Pi’s utility, expand its reach, and offer more real-world use cases.

According to Pi Network’s vision, this transition will allow integrations with exchanges, decentralized applications (dApps), and other blockchain networks*. As a result, Pi holders may soon have the ability to *trade and use their Pi across different platforms.

A spokesperson from Pi Network highlighted the importance of this step, stating: “The Open Network phase is a key part of our roadmap, ensuring Pi’s full integration into the global blockchain space.”

With this shift, the Pi community eagerly awaits further updates on the timeline and processes involved. Many believe this will increase adoption and drive Pi’s long-term success as a widely accepted cryptocurrency.
