Speaking in an interview, Aloba expressed his frustration over his son’s death, emphasizing that nearly two years later, he still does not have clear answers about what truly happened.

He also revealed his doubts about Liam’s paternity, stressing the need for a DNA test to confirm whether the child is truly Mohbad’s son.

Aloba explained that regardless of the DNA results, he would sue Wunmi for exposing Liam, who was just five months old at the time, to harmful environments, including events where heavy smoking took place.

His words, loosely translated from Yoruba, were:
“I knew nothing about Mohbad’s d3ath. When my son passed, Wunmi was the first person I asked questions because she’s his wife. Even if DNA proves that Liam is my grandson, I will sue her because how can they be taking a 5-month-old boy to shows where there are lots of w33d smok3rs? Recently, I saw that they took him to Ibadan. I knew there was a nurse, but I didn’t see her.

“DNA is very, very important. My major concerns now are what killed Mohbad and whether the child he left behind is my grandson. You won’t see me asking about properties. Help me beg the government because I’m tired, I don’t know what else to do.

“For two years now, someone that died in the house— even if it’s the nurse— at least there’s a camera inside and outside the house. What about forensic evidence? Please help me, I don’t know what to do anymore…”

Aloba pleaded with authorities to intervene, stating that he feels helpless in his search for the truth about his son’s death. He insisted that forensic investigations should have provided answers by now, given the presence of security cameras in the house.

His emotional appeal has sparked discussions online, with many urging the government to ensure a thorough investigation into Mohbad’s death and the welfare of his son, Liam.
