Breaking: NNPC Reduces Petrol Price
By Gideon Ayeni

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has lowered the price of petrol to ₦860 per litre, bringing slight relief to consumers amid rising fuel costs.
Confirming the development, Hammed Fashola, National Vice President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), described the price cut as a positive step for Nigerians.
“It is true, NNPC is selling petrol at ₦860 in its filling stations. Though this has not reflected on the portal yet, they assured me they are working on updating it,” Fashola stated.
GWG.ng reports that the price reduction follows an adjustment by Dangote Refinery, which also slashed its petroleum product prices nationwide.
