Ex-Girlfriend Who Sued Nigerian Star For Half His ‘$15m Wealth’ Ends Up Paying Him $500K!

Charlotte Powdrell, the ex-girlfriend of MMA fighter Israel Adesanya, reportedly broke down in tears after being ordered to pay him $500,000 following their court battle over his wealth.
Despite never being married or having children together, Charlotte took Israel to court after their breakup. She argued that their one-year relationship was long enough for him to have married her and demanded half of his estimated $15 million fortune.
After more than a year of legal proceedings, the court ruled in her favor, granting her half of Israel’s wealth. However, it was later revealed that Israel Adesanya’s net worth was officially recorded as $0, and he had never owned a bank account in his name.
Since Charlotte had a net worth of $1 million, the ruling led to her own money being split between them. As a result, Israel ended up receiving $500,000 from her.
There are allegations that Israel’s entire fortune is managed by his mother, Taiwo, who has been in charge of his finances since the start of his career.
