Outrage As Man Spends 3 Years In Prison For No Reason

A Nigerian man has reportedly spent the last three years behind bars for a crime he did not commit after being arrested while visiting a friend.

The shocking revelation was made by a Nigerian lawyer during a pro bono visit to a correctional facility. According to the lawyer, the man had gone to spend the night at his friend’s house but was arrested alongside him. Since then, he has remained in custody, despite having no involvement in any crime.

“Someone went to visit his friend and spent the night at his place. He was arrested alongside his friend and for the past three years, he has not returned home because he is still at the Custodial Centre for an offence he never committed,” the lawyer wrote in a viral post.

The revelation has created buzz on social media, with many Nigerians expressing anger over the injustice and calling for immediate intervention. While authorities are yet to address the case.
