Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Nengi Rebecca Hampson, has joyfully announced the birth of her baby girl.
Sharing the news on her Instagram page on Sunday, March 9, 2025, Nengi posted heartwarming photos of the birth of her baby girl. She expressed deep love for her child, calling her the greatest blessing in her life.
“The purest form of love. I received the most precious gift on 21-02. My greatest blessing, my heart in human form, my purpose. God knew I needed you, my baby… I love you more than words could ever explain. It’s us forever,” she wrote.
The announcement of the birth of Nengi’s baby girl follows previous speculations that linked her pregnancy to Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri. The governor recently denied any involvement, calling the rumors baseless.
The speculation gained traction after a blog alleged that Diri was connected to Nengi’s pregnancy. However, the reality star has since refuted the claims on her social media platforms.
Governor Diri also addressed the controversy, expressing disappointment over the spread of false information in Nigerian news platforms. His Director of New Media, Dr. Kola Oredipe, described the allegations as unfounded and an attempt to damage the governor’s reputation.
Despite the rumors, Nengi’s announcement has been met with warm congratulations from fans and well-wishers, celebrating the new addition to her family.
