2026 World Cup Super Eagles Squad

Super Eagles head coach, Éric Sékou Chelle, has released the final list of 23 players set to represent Nigeria in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

The squad includes key players such as goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali and Kayode Bankole, defenders William Ekong, Calvin Bassey, and Olaoluwa Aina, as well as midfielders Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi. In attack, stars like Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, and Simon Moses have also been named.

Among those making the cut are defenders Bruno Onyemaechi and Bright Osayi-Samuel, midfielders Raphael Onyedika and Alhassan Yusuf Abdullahi, along with forwards Samuel Chukwueze and Sadiq Umar.

Additionally, Czech Republic-based defender Igoh Ogbu has earned a spot in the squad, while home-based midfielder Papa Daniel Mustapha and Belgium-based forward Tolu Arokodare have also been included.

The Super Eagles will first face group C leaders Rwanda in Kigali on Friday, March 21, before hosting Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on March 25.
