Faithful Married Woman Seeks Advice After HIV Discovery

A married woman has taken to a relationship platform to share her heartbreaking story after discovering she is HIV positive, despite never engaging in extramarital affairs.

According to the married woman, she recently secured a job that requires an annual medical checkup for employees and their immediate family members. As part of the routine test, she encouraged her husband and child to also participate. However, while her husband and child tested negative, her result came back HIV positive, leaving her in shock and confusion.

Struggling to process the devastating news, the woman expressed her emotional turmoil, revealing that she had sworn loyalty to her husband and had never been unfaithful. The unexpected diagnosis led to her being relieved of her job, but she has been unable to disclose the truth about her HIV status to her husband. Instead, she lied about being on leave, spending her days in tears, unsure of what to do next.

“I cannot even describe what I’m feeling right now. I feel like ending everything to save myself and my family from this shame. I have never cheated or even been tempted, yet I tested positive while my family remains negative. My job has let me go, but I haven’t told my husband. I cry every day after they leave the house. I have just two weeks left before my supposed leave ends, and I don’t know what to do. My heart is heavy,” she wrote.

Her emotional outcry has sent the social media on frenzy, with many sympathizing with her while others suggest various possibilities, including medical errors or past medical procedures that may have exposed her to the virus.
