Video: Why UK Based Nigerian Men Are Choosing Ugandan Wives

A Nigerian woman has raised concerns over the increasing number of Nigerian men marrying Ugandan women in the UK.

According to her, Nigerian men are drawn to Ugandan women because they are respectful, caring, and appreciative of their husbands. She claimed that Ugandan women show gratitude in ways that surpass what Nigerian women offer, even in the smallest aspects of relationships, including visits from loved ones and intimacy in marriage.

Her statement has ignited widespread reactions online, with many people weighing in on the topic. While some supported the claim, others had contrasting opinions.

One social media user, @Slim_Oraro, dismissed the concern, saying, “Leave them, let them marry na. Ugandan women that know how to show men pepper. Nigerian men moving from frypan to fire.” This suggests skepticism about whether Ugandan women are truly better partners.

On the other hand, @AfricanTechie_ argued that men will always seek peace in relationships, stating, “Men go where they find peace and security.” Similarly, @Nonye Okoro agreed, adding, “Ugandan women are becoming better companions. Nigerian men want a peaceful home.”

However, not everyone was convinced that Ugandan women are ideal partners. @Alexico32 firmly stated, “I will never date or marry any Ugandan lady. 80% of them are already single mums at an early stage in life. I will stay with my billing Nigerian girl.”
