A massive fire engulfed Aleshinloye Market in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, on Tuesday night, leaving traders in distress as properties worth millions of naira were reduced to ashes.
Confirming the incident, the General Manager of Oyo State Fire Services, Akinyemi Akinyinka, stated that firefighters were actively battling the blaze. “Our men are currently working at Aleshinloye Market,” he assured, promising to provide further updates as the situation unfolds—According to Punch Newspapers.
