Premier League Matchday 29 fixtures

Paul Merson has shared his predictions for Premier League Matchday 29, expecting thrilling clashes, including Arsenal vs Chelsea and Man City vs Brighton.

Former Arsenal star Paul Merson has shared his predictions for this weekend’s Premier League fixtures, expecting exciting matchups.

On Saturday, Everton will take on West Ham United at Goodison Park in a crucial encounter. Merson believes Everton will make the most of their home advantage and has predicted a 2-0 victory for them.

At the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City will host Brighton & Hove Albion in an evening clash. Merson expects a competitive game but predicts a 2-1 win for City as they continue their push for the top of the table.

Sunday’s Matchday 29 fixtures bring even more excitement, including a London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium. Merson sees Arsenal continuing their strong form and securing a 2-0 victory.

Later that night, Leicester City will face Manchester United at the King Power Stadium. The former footballer expects United to dominate the match and come away with a 2-0 win, pointing to their squad’s depth and experience.

Merson also made predictions for other matches this weekend. He expects Wolves to defeat Southampton 1-0, while Nottingham Forest will claim a convincing 3-0 victory over Ipswich Town.

In addition, he foresees Bournemouth securing a 2-0 win against Brentford. Meanwhile, in a closely fought match, he believes Fulham will edge out Tottenham Hotspur with a 2-0 victory.

One major change in the schedule is due to the FA Cup final, where Liverpool will play Newcastle United on Sunday. As a result, both teams will not participate in Premier League matches this weekend.
