Tope Alabi’s daughter, Ayomiku, has expressed deep gratitude to her stepfather, Soji Alabi, after her wedding, while ignoring her biological father.

Gospel singer Tope Alabi’s daughter, Ayomiku, has publicly appreciated her stepfather, Soji Alabi, while leaving out any mention of her biological father. This came after her private wedding last week.

GWG.ng recalls that in 2020, Ayomiku’s biological father made headlines when he claimed that Tope Alabi had denied him access to their daughter for 22 years. Amid the controversy, Ayomiku took to social media to make her stance clear, stating that she recognizes Soji Alabi as her true father.

On March 17, 2025, the newlywed shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, celebrating Soji Alabi as the father figure in her life. She expressed deep admiration for him, calling him a man of strength and love.

She wrote: “A father indeed!!! A man very much after my heart ❤️ A man of timber and caliber. A man whose love has been my pillar. I type this with tears in my eyes because where do I start from? This man loves me beyond words, I can’t begin to explain or express it. I love you with every bone in my body and every flesh on my skin.”

Ayomiku went on to thank Soji Alabi for his unwavering support from childhood until the moment he gave her hand in marriage. She acknowledged his sacrifices, recalling how he traveled frequently to be with her and never missed her birthdays.

She added: “Thank you for being the best father to ever father me ❤️ from childhood up until the day you gave my hands in marriage to Olu. And even right now, you continue to father me. May you reap the reward of every labor. May you reap the fruits of coming from Lagos to Iwo every weekend. May you reap the fruits of always being there on my birthdays. OLUSOJI MI OWON. I love you, Baami.”

Her emotional tribute has sparked reactions online, with many praising her for acknowledging the role of a present and supportive father figure in her life.
