Mohbad’s mother has cried out for help after the singer’s younger brother, Adura, was allegedly abducted by armed men in Lagos.

The mother of the late singer Mohbad, Abosede Aloba, is in distress after her younger son, Adura, was reportedly abducted by unknown armed men suspected to be police officers.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon as Adura was leaving the Magistrates Court in Ogba, Lagos.

Adura had been at the court for a legal case involving a phone he sold to Damola Ayinde. He accused Ayinde and others, including actor Yomi Fabiyi, of using the phone to hack his TikTok account and damage his reputation. Reports indicate that while the case was ongoing, Adura and two others were taken away by individuals believed to be police officers.

A family source revealed that Adura’s mother has no idea where he is and is now pleading for public assistance. In a video circulating online, Abosede is seen crying in a vehicle, expressing her devastation over her son’s abduction.

Speaking in Yoruba, she accused Yomi Fabiyi and one Sam Jojo of orchestrating the abduction. She begged Nigerians for help, stating that Adura is unwell and should not be harmed. “Please help me, people of God! It’s Yomi Fabiyi. They’ve taken my son, and I don’t know where they’re taking him. It’s Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo who took him. My son did nothing to them. Dear Nigerians, please stand by me. They must not lay a hand on my son. They must not beat him — he is sick,” she cried out.

She also claimed that Fabiyi, Jojo, and their lawyer had been pleading with her earlier that morning, but she insisted that the matter was already in court and out of her hands. She further directed a warning at Damola Ayinde, saying, “Demola, you’ve put me in trouble. Mohbad’s spirit will fight you.”

Adura had previously demanded a public apology from Fabiyi, Ayinde, and others involved in the alleged hacking of his TikTok account, accusing them of defaming him. He had also initiated legal action against Fabiyi, seeking one billion naira in damages for evidence tampering, fraudulent activities, and false accusations.

The situation remains tense as Abosede continues to seek answers about her son’s whereabouts.
