Video: Woman Rejects Husband’s Expensive Flowers, Demands Food For Kids

A Nigerian woman has expressed frustration after her husband has spent ₦40,000 on a flower delivery service but neglected to provide food for her and their children.

“I don’t want flowers,” the woman said. “What about the food for me and the kids? He didn’t buy food or anything. Flowers? For what? Is it semo or rice? He gave you ₦40,000 to deliver flowers, but he couldn’t use that money to buy rice or foodstuffs for me and the kids?”

The vendor, who brought the flowers to her, confirmed that her husband had indeed paid ₦40,000 for the delivery service. This information only worsens the woman’s anger, as she emphasizes that while her husband can afford to splurge on flower deliveries, he has neglected to take care of the family’s basic needs.

The video quickly went viral on social media, sparking a range of reactions. Many viewers supported the woman’s reaction, agreeing that her husband’s priorities were misplaced, while others offered suggestions on how she could have handled the situation differently. Some criticized the husband for not fulfilling his responsibilities, while others took a more humorous approach to the situation.
