ECOBA “83 Unburdens GWG Publisher, Aziken After Mother’s Death

The 1983 class of Edo College, Benin, under the aegis of the Edo College Old Boys Association, ECOBA 83 has condoled with one of its cohorts, Emmanuel Aziken on the death of his mother, Madam Helen Erina Aziken.
In a heartfelt message of condolence on behalf of the 1983 set, the newly elected president, Mr Adegboyega Jamgbadi, urged Aziken, to take solace in the fact that the deceased left a memorable legacy that should give inspiration.
While urging Aziken to grieve in the consciousness of a worthy legacy left behind by his mother, Mr Jamgbadi, on behalf of ECOBA 83 said:
“Emmanuel my sincere condolences and sympathies on the passing of your dear mother Madam Helen Erina Aziken, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, Christian, and co-founder/leader of Ezugbo-Omume.
“She has lived a life in full, having left her indelible mark in the annals of her family, tribe, church, and society.
“One can only imagine how you feel now having lost a mother who nurtured one through life and offered all the selfless, priceless, committed and agape love. As you grieve, which you must do in honour of her sacrifices and the irreparable loss, please take solace in the wholesome,e inestimable memories with her and the fact that she lived an impactful life. May God accept her in his bosom and keep her in peace eternal as she rests with him.

GWG.ng reports that Madam Helen Aziken died on Sunday, March 23 at Heartland Cardiovascular Consultants, Asokoro, Abuja, where she had received therapy over the past eight years for a heart condition.
Born in Alisor, Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, the late Helen Aziken was a dedicated merchant, housewife and mother to Chukwudi (deceased), Emmanuel, Gladys Ozor, Chukwuekwu Oyema Aziken, Grace Ojji and step-mother Mrs. Oshi Okeosisi, Augustine Oyema-Aziken, Monday Aziken and Julie Ndidi Ogboi.
A dedicated doyenne of the Aziken stock of Omumu, Agbor, Helen Erina Aziken is remembered for her inspirational instructorship of many within and outside the family loop, including Benard Aziken, erstwhile chairman of Ika Local Government Area, Frank Aziken, a retired school principal,and late Apostle John Aziken, among many others.
