Gospel singer, Tope Alabi, has been a hot topic on social media following a fresh controversy involving actress Lizzy Anjorin.

In a new viral video, Lizzy Anjorin was seen furiously swearing and invoking her gods to harm one Funmi Justina — a woman believed to be on Tope Alabi’s side amid their ongoing drama.

The video has sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians now praising Tope Alabi’s earlier decision to distance herself from Lizzy Anjorin.

Recall that last week, Tope Alabi was contracted with a reported ₦4 million deal to perform at a surprise party. She received ₦2.5 million upfront but upon arriving at the venue, realized the party was for Lizzy Anjorin.

Immediately, the gospel singer reportedly refused to step out of her car. According to sources, she refunded the money and quietly left the venue without causing a scene.

However, Lizzy Anjorin didn’t take it lightly. She took to social media, blasting Tope Alabi for allegedly judging her based on her past lifestyle. The actress claimed she didn’t need the gospel singer to validate her party, boasting that she could play Tope’s songs anytime.

Interestingly, while Lizzy initially stated she paid ₦4 million, she later told the media the figure was ₦2.5 million.

Many believe Lizzy may have booked Tope Alabi herself — possibly for the attention the drama would generate.

With Lizzy Anjorin now trending again — this time for publicly invoking curses and calling on spiritual forces against her perceived enemy — fans say Tope Alabi’s caution and spiritual sensitivity have been justified.

Several social media users now believe that the gospel singer sensed deeper spiritual issues and wisely chose to stay away from the event.

As of now, Tope Alabi has maintained silence over the incident.
