Popular Nigerian street-hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has been arrested by the Nigeria Police, stirring reactions across social media.

The incident came to light through a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), where the controversial singer was seen in a distressed state while engaging with police officers and bystanders. In the footage, Portable revealed that a petition from Ilorin led to his arrest, though he did not disclose further details.

“I’m not a thief… they said there’s a petition from Ilorin,” Portable was heard saying, while seated inside a vehicle in what appears to be a police station. Officers stood around the car as he pleaded for clarity and urged for understanding.
