Tinubu Divides Opinions At Obi Cubana’s Birthday (Video)

A viral video from the star-studded 50th birthday celebration of nightlife mogul Obi Cubana has sparked a wave of reactions online, following what appeared to be a tense moment between former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye and celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest.
In the now-trending clip, Dino Melaye was seen arriving at the lavish event and heading straight to greet Obi Cubana, who was engaged in a lively conversation with a group that included Cubana Chief Priest who graced the occasion with the popular cap associated with followers of President Bola Tinubu.
While Melaye exchanged warm pleasantries with the celebrant and shook hands with others in the group, he noticeably ignored Cubana Chief Priest.

The moment has since stirred speculation and conversation on social media. While some netizens hailed Dino for seemingly distancing himself from Cubana Chief Priest, others offered alternative theories.
A number of users suggested that the perceived snub may have been intentional, linking it to the Tinubu-styled cap worn by Cubana Chief Priest. The cap, which features a distinctive logo resembling “888,” has been widely associated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and often worn by his supporters.
Commenters speculated that Dino, a well-known critic of Tinubu and member of the opposition, may have taken issue with the symbol and therefore chose not to acknowledge the celebrity barman.
