Video: PDP Governor Backs Tinubu For Second Term

Governor Umo Eno has pledged full support for President Tinubu, saying he believes Tinubu will complete his eight years in office.

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has openly declared his support for President Bola Tinubu to complete two full terms in office, despite being a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking on Tuesday during the flag-off ceremony for the Akwa Ibom segment of the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway project, the governor expressed his alignment with the current administration.

He said, “Let me end by assuring that our president (Tinubu), our people-loving president, who will complete 8 years because we are going to stand by him, my leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not allow Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway to turn to another East-West Road. He is a father and a promise keeper.”

Governor Eno also prayed for the president, asking for good health and strength for him to carry out his responsibilities successfully.

He added that he would continue to support and work with Tinubu’s government throughout his tenure.
