Eniola Badmus Breaks Silence After Clash With Laide Bakare

Nollywood actress and politician, Eniola Badmus, has broken her silence after a heated argument with fellow actress Laide Bakare at the recent premiere of the movie ‘Owanbe Thieves’, hosted by Eniola Ajao on Sunday.

The confrontation between the two actresses quickly went viral online. Laide Bakare had accused Eniola Badmus of disrespecting her by calling her an “animal.” She also claimed she helped Eniola rise to fame at a time when people shunned her due to her appearance and weight.

In response, Eniola Badmus took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, to share a message promoting peace and unity within the entertainment industry. She urged her colleagues to avoid conflict and focus on collective success rather than envy.

“Life has a way of teaching us that true strength lies not in conflict but unity. Though we may have walked different paths and faced moments of tension, I believe it’s time to let love lead,” she wrote.

She continued, “There is no need for jealousy when we can all succeed. Your success does not diminish mine, just as mine does not take away from yours. Let us continue to collaborate, lift each other, and build something greater than what we could ever achieve alone. There’s strength in unity and a future brighter than any victory we’ve pursued alone.”
