Veteran media personality Frank Edoho has stirred conversation online after sharing his candid opinion on why most women aren’t drawn to overly nice men.
Speaking on a recent episode of the TVC talk show, The Black Table, Frank Edoho, reflected on his observation that many women are more attracted to assertive men—often labeled “bad boys”—than to those who are consistently kind and gentle.
Edoho referenced a viral article he came across, which asked women to identify red flags they secretly admire in men. He revealed that the responses were both surprising and revealing.
“There was an article I saw on a blog that intrigued me. The topic was, ‘What is that red flag that you admire in the opposite sex?’ The question was directed at women. Although I’ve always believed that men shouldn’t be nice all the time, the responses I read solidified my stance that maybe men shouldn’t even try to be nice at all.”
He continued by citing some of the answers shared by women online:
“One woman said she liked it when her man tells her, ‘I don’t want to repeat myself again.’ She said it turns her on. Another said she likes when her man waxes her—not aggressively, but in a way that shows power. It turns her on too.”
According to Frank Edoho, the responses reflect a curious psychological trend among women who, while publicly advocating for respectful partners, may privately admire more dominant behavior.
“There are some strange things going on in the minds of these women that you’re trying so hard to be nice to,” he noted. “I’m not saying all of them are like that, but majority of women don’t like nice guys.
