In a live session with fellow streamer Sandra, Peller recounted how he and his partner, Jarvis, nearly missed out on securing the Asoebi. According to him, he had almost forgotten about it and only remembered shortly before the event.

He revealed that by the time they made the call to purchase the fabric, it was already late and Jarvis was able to get just two yards for nearly N300,000.

Peller also added that Jarvis had to combine the expensive fabric with other materials to create the dress she wore to the wedding.

While his revelation gave fans a glimpse into the extravagant nature of celebrity events, it didn’t sit well with many social media users. Under his post, several netizens criticized him for what they described as an “immature” move, questioning the need to publicly disclose the cost of the fabric.

Some commenters felt the revelation was unnecessary, while others accused him of chasing clout over something as personal as a wedding outfit.

Read some netizens’ reactions below;

ayomi___x: “Nobody! Absolutely nobody! Came out to say the price they bought asoebi for!!!
