Soso Soberekon Pledges ₦20M For Rematch Between Portable And Speed Darlington
By Gideon Ayeni

Popular music executive and talent manager, Soso Soberekon, has offered a ₦20 million cash prize to support a rematch between controversial singers Portable and Speed Darlington following their viral celebrity boxing clash.
The original bout, dubbed “Chaos in the Rings,” ended in a victory for Portable through a technical knockout. However, the drama didn’t end in the ring. In the aftermath, Speed Darlington accused Portable of using “juju” to win and took to Instagram to publicly demand a rematch.
Reacting to the callout, Soberekon jumped into the comments of Darlington’s post with a bold offer.
“Rematch ₦20M for the winner. @speeddarlintv you have my number or tell the promoters to reach out to me,” he wrote.

Despite the generous offer, a rematch remains uncertain. This comes after Grammy-winning artiste Burna Boy reportedly gifted Portable ₦20 million to celebrate his victory, prompting Portable to shut down any rematch talks.
“Rematch no dey again. Burna Boy don give me ₦20 million. Bring another person, not that fool. He’s a fool at 40,” Portable previously said in a video circulating on social media.
With both artistes trading words and celebrities stepping in with cash incentives, fans are glued to their screens, waiting to see if Portable will cave in to the pressure or stick to his guns.
