Controversial social media commentator and activist, Verydarkman, has fired back at critics following the resurgence of an old video where he harshly predicted that Priscilla Ojo’s marriage would not last.

The resurfaced clip originally recorded during a heated online feud between VeryDarkMan with Priscilla’s mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, resurfaced after reality TV star Deeone shared it on social media.

In the video, Verydarkman makes pessimistic remarks about Priscilla Ojo’s future, suggesting she would follow in her mother’s footsteps—a comment many have deemed insensitive, especially in light of her recent wedding.

Priscilla and her Tanzanian husband, Juma Jux, recently tied the knot in a lavish Lagos ceremony that drew top entertainers, dignitaries, and even Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State. The grand wedding has been trending across social media, further amplifying attention on anything related to the newlyweds.

Reacting to the renewed buzz, Verydarkman took to his platform to express his displeasure at the video’s circulation, especially during what should be a joyous time for Priscilla Ojo.

“Person do hin wedding, una no allow the young girl enjoy hin wedding, una don carry my name enter again. I am very petty, but I am busy. I have a lot of responsibilities; I have been in a meeting,” he said in a fresh video addressing the backlash.

He captioned the post with a pointed message to bloggers:

“Let the young lady enjoy her day. That’s the least y’all bloggers can do. First Obi birthday, now this.”
