Ebenezer Obey Death Rumour

Veteran musician Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi has strongly denied rumors that he has passed away. He reassured his fans that he is very much alive, in good health, and feeling great.

In a video posted on Tuesday morning, he addressed the false news by performing a cheerful song. With his signature energy, he sang, “Hello, my name is Professor Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi. Satan, you don lose o, Satan, you don lose o, you don pafuka. Na lie lie you dey talk, you don pafuka.”

Speaking further in the video, he dismissed the rumor completely. “It is fake news that started a few hours ago claiming that I, Evangelist Obey, have passed on to glory. It is a lie. I am alive, and that is not the word Jesus has written.”

The false report started circulating on Monday and quickly gained attention online. Many of his fans believed it and began sharing messages of grief and loss on social media.

To clear the confusion, Obey-Fabiyi’s assistant, Tope Olukole, also spoke up. During an interview on Monday evening, he confirmed that the legendary musician was alive and well.

“Let’s set the record straight: Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi is alive and thriving! He recently celebrated a joyous occasion — the 50th birthday of his second child’s spouse,” Olukole said, adding that he was happy to see his boss full of life.

“Rumours of his passing are baseless and entirely unfounded. We’re glad to see him active and well,” he added.

This death hoax came shortly after Obey-Fabiyi celebrated his 83rd birthday with his family and fans, a moment filled with joy and appreciation.
