“I Think I Entered The Wrong Car,” Cryptic Message From Missing UTME Girl
By Gideon Ayeni

A Nigerian family has been thrown into distress following the sudden disappearance of a young girl who was en route to write her JAMB examination.
According to her sister, the girl left Ajah for Epe where her JAMB centre is located around 1 p.m. but has not been seen or heard from more than 24 hours later.
The incident came to public attention through a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the girl’s elder sister, who appealed to the public for help in locating her sibling. The post has since gone viral, as netizens results to prayers for the missing JAMB girl.
In the emotional message, the sister disclosed that the last communication from the missing girl was deeply unsettling. She had sent a text that read: “I’m scared. I think I entered the wrong car. My eyes are itchy. It feels like I want to sleep.”
That message was the last anyone heard from her.
“It’s almost 24 hours, and we haven’t heard from my sister,” the distraught sibling wrote. “She was going to Epe from Ajah around 1 p.m. yesterday (Thursday) for her JAMB exam today. The last message she sent to her other sister was very disturbing.”
As the search intensifies both online and offline, the family continues to hope for her safe return, while Nigerians across social media platforms have joined in amplifying the message, hoping someone somewhere might have useful information.
