Shocking Reason ABC Transport Founder’s Daughter Cancelled Wedding
By Benjamin Abioye

Ihuoma Nneji, daughter of ABC Transport’s Frank Nneji, accuses the police of witch-hunting her after she was declared wanted, allegedly due to her canceled wedding with her ex-fiancé.
The daughter of Frank Nneji, the founder of ABC Transport, Ihuoma Julia Nneji, has accused the Nigeria Police Force of targeting her after she was declared wanted for alleged cybercrime offenses.
Nneji, 34, claims she was never invited or summoned by the police before being placed on the wanted list. She expressed shock and humiliation upon discovering her name had been added to the list without prior notice.
In a statement, Nneji denied any wrongdoing, insisting that the allegations against her were baseless and stemmed from a personal vendetta by her ex-fiancé, Henry Uzochukwu. She explained that the reason for the fallout was her discovery of uncomfortable facts about Uzochukwu’s sexuality, which led her to cancel their planned wedding. “I was never invited, questioned, or informed about any complaint. To wake up and see my name on a wanted list was shocking, humiliating, and deeply unfair,” Nneji said.
Nneji recounted meeting Uzochukwu in April 2024, and how their relationship quickly evolved into a serious one with marriage plans in place. However, by August 2024, Nneji decided to call off their wedding after discovering troubling details regarding Uzochukwu’s sexual orientation. She claimed to have found evidence suggesting that Uzochukwu was gay, which led her to terminate the engagement. Nneji also revealed that she was not the first to end a relationship with him. “I discovered that not only did he have an interest in men, but he had also been engaged multiple times without revealing why those engagements failed,” she explained. Nneji further added that Uzochukwu’s previous fiancée had left him just a week before their wedding for the same reason.
Since the wedding cancellation, Nneji alleged that she had been harassed and falsely accused by Uzochukwu. “Since the wedding cancellation, Henry has relentlessly harassed and threatened me,” she said. “He falsely accused me of running an Instagram page spreading rumors about him – a claim that is speculative and completely untrue.”
Nneji strongly maintained her innocence, stressing that she had never engaged in defamation, blackmail, or stalking. “I have always conducted myself with integrity. The real victim here is me. I am being punished for refusing to go ahead with a marriage built on deception,” she stated.
In her statement, Nneji urged the Nigeria Police Force to investigate the matter thoroughly and allow her the opportunity to present her side of the story. “I urge the authorities to thoroughly investigate the matter and hear my side of the story before reaching any conclusions,” she pleaded.
