Months after his Juventus departure and a doping ban, Paul Pogba has declared he’s “still hungry” to return to football—leaving fans guessing what’s next.

Paul Pogba has reassured his fans that he still has the drive to return to professional football, despite being without a club for nearly six months following the mutual termination of his contract with Juventus.

The French midfielder, once regarded as one of the sport’s brightest stars, is determined to make a comeback and continue his football journey.

Pogba’s doping suspension, initially set at four years, was reduced to 18 months on appeal last October. However, the shortened ban did not salvage his second stint with Juventus, which came to an abrupt end shortly afterward.

Since then, speculation about Pogba’s next move has been widespread. Rumors have linked him with a return to Manchester United and a potential move to Marseille, which would mark his first professional experience in French domestic football. His recent extended stay in Miami has also fueled suggestions of a transfer to Major League Soccer. The Saudi Pro League is another likely destination for the 32-year-old, given its growing appeal to experienced European players.

In a video shared with fans on Instagram, Pogba expressed his ongoing determination. “I mean, this is just a little message that I think shows someone who is still hungry for the comeback. I have been training by myself, but never giving up and always chasing my dream and what I want to achieve,” he said. He added encouragement to his followers: “Just a little message for all of you guys that right now, you don’t get what you want, but just keep trying, keep pushing until you get it. It might be tomorrow, it might be in one year, two years, but man what is going to happen, is going to happen so, let’s go. Big up and I will see you very soon.”

Injuries, suspension, and time away from the game have taken a toll on Pogba’s career. Since his departure from Manchester United in 2022, he has played only 12 competitive matches. His final appearance for United came weeks before the end of the 2021–2022 season due to a calf injury. When he returned to Juventus, his comeback was delayed six months by a knee issue.

Later, Pogba was sidelined by Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri for disciplinary reasons. When he finally started a game in May 2023, it ended after just 23 minutes due to another injury. His last professional appearance was as a substitute in a Serie A match against Empoli in September 2023. On the international front, he has not played for France since March 2022, with his cap count still at 91.

As Pogba continues his individual training and searches for the right opportunity, fans and observers alike remain curious about where and how the next chapter of his career will unfold.
