Midnight Inferno Ravages Popular Terminus Market In Jos (Video)

A devastating fire outbreak has rocked the popular Terminus Market in Jos, Plateau State, leaving several shops burnt to the ground and goods worth millions of naira destroyed.
The incident, which occurred late Tuesday night at about 11:45 p.m. on April 29, 2025, threw traders and residents into panic as flames rapidly consumed parts of the bustling commercial hub. Videos and eyewitness accounts shared on social media showed thick plumes of smoke and cries of helpless traders watching their investments go up in flames.

As of the time of this report, authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the cause of the fire or the full extent of the damage.
The Terminus Market is one of the largest and busiest markets in Northern Nigeria, known for housing hundreds of traders dealing in clothing, electronics, foodstuffs, and other essential goods.
