By Gideon Ayeni

A video currently making the rounds on social media has set social media abuzz after showing a hallway in a Nigerian hotel allegedly charging N50,000 per night—yet failing to provide running water.
In the now-viral clip, multiple yellow jerry cans filled with water were seen placed in front of each guest’s room, suggesting that guests were expected to rely on these containers for their water needs.
The caption on the video humorously reads, “When you decide to lodge at upper… GOD ABEG OO,” hinting at the disappointment of paying premium rates for substandard services.
