JAMB On Rescheduling Website

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a crucial directive to candidates who missed their rescheduled 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) due to genuine reasons.

In a post shared on its official social media platforms, JAMB advised candidates rescheduled for the exams who missed the opportunity to take immediate action by raising a support ticket via its online portal at support.jamb.gov.ng. The board urged candidates to clearly explain why they missed the examination and indicate their preferred location for a rewrite.

“Attention Rescheduled 2025 UTME Candidates! Did you miss your scheduled examination for a genuine reason? Kindly raise a ticket to that effect on support.jamb.gov.ng stating why you missed the session and where you’ll prefer to rewrite the exam,” the statement read.

This move comes as part of JAMB’s effort to ensure fairness and provide a second chance for candidates affected by unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, technical disruptions at CBT centres, or verified logistical issues.

The announcement has drawn attention from candidates and stakeholders, with many applauding the board’s commitment to ensuring that no qualified candidate is unfairly disadvantaged.

Candidates are urged to act swiftly and submit accurate details to avoid missing the opportunity for a makeup exam.
