Woman Lover’s Manhood Rivers

A woman in Rivers State was arrested after biting off her lover’s manhood during an argument over intimacy in Port Harcourt.

A shocking incident happened in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where a 43-year-old woman named Gift was arrested after biting off the tip of her lover’s manhood.

The incident on Thursday, May 15, at Bishop Okoye Street, Mile 3 Diobu left the local community in disbelief.

According to reports, the trouble began when Gift’s partner, Sunday, asked for sex. Gift refused because Sunday had reportedly taken aphrodisiac drugs. A resident who wished to remain anonymous said, “Mr. Sunday became angry and allegedly descended on his female partner for her refusal.” During the argument, Gift bit off the cap of Sunday’s manhood. “The cap of the man’s manhood was completely bitten off by the woman,” the source added.

The man’s screams attracted neighbors, some of whom tried to attack Gift before the police arrived and stopped the crowd. The police spokesperson confirmed the arrest of Gift and said investigations are ongoing.

This disturbing case is part of a larger issue of domestic violence, which has been increasing in Nigeria recently. A psychologist, Tony Omeluko, explained that the rising violence is linked to frustration caused by the country’s worsening economic situation. He said, “Nigerians and other African countries don’t care much about people’s mental health. A lot of Nigerians are currently sick mentally due to the hardship.”

In another tragic incident in Ekiti State, a couple lost their lives after a violent fight. Caleb, a security agent, and his wife, Tate, were involved in a heated argument that ended with both of them stabbing each other fatally. This shows a worrying rise in domestic violence cases across the country.

These incidents highlight the need for urgent attention to mental health and domestic violence prevention in Nigeria, as many people continue to suffer in silence due to economic and social pressures.
