Video: Netzins Mock Peller Over Netflix N3b Claim
By Benjamin Abioye

Peller has sparked a flurry of online reactions after revealing he turned down a N3B Netflix offer involving Jarvis, with many Nigerians debating the truth and motive.
Following Nigerian TikTok star Peller’s claim that he turned down a N3 billion offer from Netflix for his partner, Jarvis, to film a kissing scene, reactions have flooded social media, with Nigerians divided over the credibility and implications of his decision.
The claim, which surfaced during a live session with Peter Okoye (Mr. P), where Peller stated, “I love my baby. I’m paying her good money. I don’t like that life,” has sparked a range of emotions—admiration, skepticism, satire, and criticism.
While some Nigerians hailed Peller as a man of principles, others questioned the authenticity of the story, with a few turning the saga into comedic fodder.
Several users commended Peller’s choice to put his relationship above financial gain. One user, @IgboanuE, wrote, “Peller is a real man, I love how he protects his women.” Similarly, @aideinfluence said, “I believe him and I like him standing on values even when the bag is loud.”
@abazwhyllzz added a humorous spin in support: “That was how they offered me 1 billion to act a role of a mad man. I rejected it ‘cos of my steeze and aura. Love Peller for this.”
However, not everyone was convinced. @iam_maine8 questioned the logic of the offer, sarcastically tweeting, “3B for that Jarvis girl? Na she get golden mouth? Tiwa Savage sef no fit get that offer.”
Another critic, @jayglobalbanger, dismissed the claim altogether, saying, “Lies from the pit of hell! Content creating has to be exhausting at some point.”
@Rozam1030 doubted Peller’s financial capacity, writing, “Just de whine yourself… You that can sell Jarvis for 1 billion. Do you have 1 billion in your account?”
Some questioned why Peller, rather than Jarvis herself, would reject the deal. @Govmentson mocked, “They offer Jarvis a deal but na Peller dey refuse.” Others raised concerns about Jarvis’ independence, like @justkency who asked, “Is he saying Jarvis is not independent minded?”
@therealkaykerry simply dismissed the story as “foolish talk.”
Beyond humor and disbelief, the situation has triggered broader reflections on love, content creation, and economic disparity. @Arianacrypto202 tweeted, “This guy rejected 3 billion for love. Me wey dey negotiate peace of mind for 3k data money, I salute you sir.”
Meanwhile, @lifeissues_11 wanted clarification on the currency, asking, “3 billion in what currency? Naira or dollars?”
@Ziggyashy even tagged a fact-checking platform, tweeting, “@AskPerplexity is it true that Netflix offered them 3 billion?”
As the reactions continue to pour in, one thing is certain—Peller’s Netflix confession has sparked more than just curiosity; it has become a cultural conversation about values, relationships, truth, and the blurred lines between content and reality.
