Video: Why We Beat Up Atiku – NANS Official

Yusuf Decimal, who claims to be a key actor in the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has confirmed that students assaulted Atiku Isah and has issued warnings to VeryDarkMan and Sowore.
Tensions within the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) have intensified following a public statement from Yusuf Decimal, who claims to be part of the student body.
He openly admitted that Atiku Abubakar Isah was beaten by students for allegedly impersonating the president of the national student’s body, NANS.
In a video posted on X by Sahara Reporters, Decimal, alongside another person, clearly stated that the assault was carried out by students, insisting that Olushola Oladoja is the duly elected president of NANS. Speaking in Pidgin, he said, “Go ask Atiku, National Association of Nigerian Students beat am. Nah them beat am. Because e dey impersonate. Nah NANS beat am.”
Decimal also directed strong warnings at social media activist VeryDarkMan and human rights campaigner Omoyele Sowore. Referring to VeryDarkMan, he said, “VeryDarkMan, I came here because of you… No carry yourself come NANS. NANS go beat you.”
To Sowore, he added, “And Sowore, we go mend you and all the social media una dey do, make una dey use am chop. No carry your issues come NANS.”
He emphasized that NANS is not affiliated with any political party, and outsiders should not interfere in its internal matters.
