Al Hilal Plans Big Signings Including Ronaldo And Three Others
By Benjamin Abioye

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to leave Al Nassr and join Al Hilal, with an official announcement expected soon. His arrival aims to strengthen Al Hilal’s Club World Cup chances.
Cristiano Ronaldo may be heading for another major move in his football career, as reports suggest he’s close to leaving Al Nassr for Saudi rivals Al Hilal.
This news came from former Al-Batin president, Nasser Al-Huwaidi, who said the deal is almost done and should be made official soon.
Al-Huwaidi shared his thoughts during an interview, saying, “Cristiano Ronaldo is close to joining Al Hilal, and this deal will be announced in the coming days.” He believes the football star’s arrival will boost the FIFA Club World Cup’s popularity and bring more fans to Al Hilal matches. “The legend’s arrival at Al Hilal will give the Club World Cup a huge boost, and Al-Hilal will have the highest attendance in the tournament,” he added.
Ronaldo’s contract with Al Nassr is expected to end in June, making him a free agent. Although several clubs—including Wydad Casablanca in Morocco and Brazil’s Palmeiras and Botafogo—have been linked to him, Al Hilal appears to be the most likely destination.
According to Al-Huwaidi, the club isn’t stopping with just Ronaldo. He revealed that Al Hilal plans to bring in three more international stars to strengthen the team and excite fans. “Al Hilal will certainly sign three international names in addition to Cristiano, which will enable the team to perform at a high level and satisfy its fans,” he said.
He also compared Ronaldo to the team’s current striker, Mitrovic, saying, “Ronaldo is currently better than Mitrovic, and I don’t think Al Hilal fans will object to his arrival. Rather, they will welcome him as long as he adds value to the team and contributes to winning trophies.”
If confirmed, this transfer would mark another huge step in Ronaldo’s career and further highlight Saudi Arabia’s increasing presence in global football.
