Verydarkman Slams Nigeria’s Stance On Israel-Iran War (Video)
By Gideon Ayeni

Popular Nigerian social commentator and activist, Verydarkman, has openly criticized the Nigerian government for its recent appeal for a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, urging leaders to focus instead on the growing insecurity within Nigeria.
In a viral video shared on social media, Verydarkman questioned the priorities of the Nigerian government, saying it was hypocritical to call for peace between Iran and Israel while failing to address the persistent violence and killings in various parts of the country.
“Nigeria is battling insecurity every single day, from Benue to Jos, yet our government is interfering in matters that don’t directly concern us,” he said.
The activist sarcastically pleaded with the Iranian and Israeli governments not to “face Nigeria,” warning that if they did, “Nigerians will start calling on the God of Israel for help.”
He also criticized the government’s silence on domestic crises, stating: “They’ve never called for a ceasefire in Benue, Plateau, Kaduna, or other parts of the North where people are being killed daily, yet they’re rushing to comment on the Middle East.”

Verydarkman’s commentary has since gone viral, with many Nigerians echoing his sentiments and calling on the government to prioritize internal security and the welfare of its citizens over foreign diplomacy.
As of the time of this report, Nigerian authorities are yet to respond to the video.
