Governor Tells How Nigerian Pastor Healed Him From Deadly Ailment (Video)

In a deeply personal and emotional address, Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has recounted a transformation experience that he attributes to the spiritual intervention of Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka during a special thanksgiving event marking his second year in office.

The video, captured at the State Ecumenical Centre in Abakaliki, showed Nwifuru speaking with conviction, as he narrated his interaction with Rev. Mbaka.

Nwifuru’s speech began with a heartfelt acknowledgment of Fr. Mbaka’s role in his life, describing him as a spiritual leader, consultant, and reliable friend. “He has been my spiritual leader,” Nwifuru said, his voice steady yet filled with gratitude.

He recounted a critical period in his life, around 2016-2017, when he was “almost dying” and left with “nothing.” Desperate for a solution, he was directed to visit a reverend father in Enugu State, whom he later identified as Fr. Mbaka. Nwifuru recalled the unexpected nature of the encounter.

The governor detailed his journey to the Adoration Ground, where Fr. Mbaka’s ministry is based, seeking healing after extensive medical interventions failed. “I was in adoration ground and I wasn’t strong,” he admited, describing his physical and emotional state. Fr. Mbaka’s directive was clear: “He said, I must be here till tomorrow morning,” insisting on a night of prayer. Nwifuru recounted the experience, noting, “And I was on the Adoration Ground till tomorrow morning. He said we will pray together here, nobody is going to pray for you, you are going to pray for yourself.”
